[Tweet](https://twitter.com/share) We just returned from an exciting weekend at the NRA (National Restaurant Association) Show 2017. This show is the largest annual gathering of the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry. Just like they do every year, the NRA packed McCormick Place in Chicago with over 2,000 exhibitors and countless non-exhibiting attendees. The place was buzzing with people making new contacts, learning about new and innovative products, greeting old friends, and inhaling the aromas from all the amazing food that was being prepared by the celebrity chefs in attendance. You might be wondering what the Vectis™ team was doing at the NRA show… Well, we have a lot to offer a special group of exhibitors that make it possible for those celebrity chefs to cook up those amazing recipes – the commercial food service equipment manufactures. You see, Vectis™ is all about making life easier for the hard working people behind the scenes in your favorite restaurants. With our experience in counterbalance hinge technology, we can help make that heavy oven door feel lighter or stop that heavy lid from falling and causing injury. We’re experts in motion control – even in the kitchen! We all know that trade shows are great for discovering new products and making new contacts. So, in the spirit of learning and growing, we hit the show floor, made our rounds, met with some incredible people, and took a look at where Vectis™ could make a difference. And after all the amazing products we saw, we’re really looking forward to helping to shape the future of commercial food equipment by bringing our years of experience and our expertise in motion control to the industry. If you have commercial food equipment that could benefit from our counterbalance hinge technology, give us a call! We’d be happy to help you discover what Vectis™ and Vectis™ Custom have to offer!
